Aug. 20--In the last year, David Hawkins has been all over the world.
He went to China with the Houston Rockets during the 2004 preseason. He competed professionally in Italy. He played for the Washington Wizards' summer-league team in Las Vegas.
However, by the way he is hustling and shooting and playing defense during this week's 76ers mini-camp, Hawkins is focused on a goal to drop anchor for the 2005-06 NBA season in Philadelphia.
