When, in December 2002, I took over the Presidency of the AEDEAN, at the same time that José Antonio Álvarez Amorós was elected new Editor of Atlantis, I was not aware of the fact that we were near to completing the third decade of the AEDEAN's history and that soon we would be celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of our journal.
