Traveling to a race venue is not hard. Hundreds of competitors and thousands of fans journey across the country--and in some cases, the globe--every weekend during the summer to take part in an activity they love. ATV racing is growing and as it collects more spectators, it's bound to attract more and more first-time racers, too. It's one thing to be a fan, but it's another thing to become a racer. Not that every form of racing is hard, it's just not everyone can race at the same speed nor do they have the same abilities on a race course.
So where do you fit in? Before you can make the transition from being a fan to becoming a racer, you must first decide what style of racing best fits you. The next logical question to ask yourself is: "What class should I compete in?" Figuring out the questions to these answers is critical as you map out your racing career.
