Power Tool
Good Vibrations
Good Vibrations Gillette's newest tool is small, shower-ready, and made to vibrate -- but it shouldn't be hidden in a bedside drawer. The battery-powered disposable M3Power razor emits micropulses that Gillette claims lift hair away from the skin, allowing more fuzz removal and less irritation with each stroke. "The vibrations will make shaving less uncomfortable because you won't feel the blade," says dermatologist Neil S. Sadick, "and while it's possible that pulsing raises hair up from the skin, there isn't yet a scientific theory showing as much." Bottom Line: It's technically for men, but it worked great for us, causing less razor burn and halving our shaving time.
