MARK HAINES, CNBC ANCHOR: We have been discussing Katrina`s effects on crude oil, grains, lumber, and cotton, but what about its impact on the shrimping industry? Something like 70 percent of the shrimp in the U.S. comes from down there?
BECKY QUICK, CNBC CORRESPONDENT: Yes, the bulk of all U.S. shrimp production is from the Gulf of Mexico. A lot of concern about this yesterday. Just kind of watching the shrimp industry, seeing what could happen now. Right now there is not a shrimp shortage, don`t want to scare anybody about this just yet.
