New Delhi, Aug 31 (PTI) Using the NIC platform to attack
Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of western Indian state of
Gujarat, CPI-M General Secretary Prakash Karat on Wednesday
said it was the federal government's responsibility to ensure
justice for the victims of the post-Godhra communal riots as
normal police and judicial procedures have been found wanting
in the state.
Observing that there were lessons to be drawn from the
"horrific" incidents of communal riots and Godhra train
incident, Karat said at the 13th meeting of the National
