MICHELLE CARUSO-CABRERA, CNBC ANCHOR: Traders will be analyzing two pieces of data today, interesting to see if the market reacts because it didn`t react at all yesterday, 8:30 a.m. Eastern time the Commerce Department releases the preliminary second-quarter GDP report. The CNBC/Dow Jones survey predicts an annual growth rate of 3.4 percent that would be unchanged from last month`s advanced GDP report. At 10.a.m., Wall Street digests the August Chicago Purchasing Managers Index, economists see a reading of 60.5, that is down 3 points from July.
