More Torrid Gains For Oil, Gas
1Oct. crude oil, which rose $1.07 Monday, tacked on $2.61 to $69.81 a barrel, a new high close, as damage reports rolled in. Sept. gasoline, set to expire Wed., soared 41.39 cents, or 20%, to $2.4745, as Gulf refineries will likely stay down for quite a while. Oct. heating oil rose 15.09 cents to $2.0850.
