Aug. 30--Residents in a large swath of Miami-Dade County may have to swelter in the summer heat until as late as Friday evening, Florida Power & Light officials said Monday.
"Oh, God," said Maryann Lynne of Pinecrest, who lives in one of 188,396 South Florida homes still without power. "I'm really upset with them, but I don't have a choice. There's not another electric company."
