Aug. 28--A third of the way into it, construction on the Ponce de Leon median improvement project continues to disrupt traffic along the busy downtown corridor and many cross streets.
One of the worst corners is at Miracle Mile, where the valet service at Houston's has been moved from Ponce de Leon to the Mile, causing a long back up during peak hours.
But merchants and businesses are apparently refraining from complaining, said city officials and the executive director of the downtown Business Improvement District (BID).
