Aug. 26--With season-ticket sales beneath expectations and divergent philosophies on job descriptions, a growing wedge between FC Dallas ownership and its general manager climaxed late Thursday with another top-level shake-up.
General manager Greg Elliott resigned under pressure, just less than two years after taking the position.
