TALLAHASSEE, Fla. _ Residents of Florida's Panhandle began filling sandbags and replenishing hurricane supplies on Friday as forecasters predicted Hurricane Katrina was finding new power in the Gulf of Mexico and coming their way.
The storm that hit South Florida as a Category 1 could turn into a Category 4, with winds between 131 and 155 miles per hour, by the time it hits its Gulf Coast target on Monday.
