Space City Chapter members receive Johnson Space Center's highest honors.(Award of Excellence)

On May 4, 2005, several members of the Space City Chapter of NCMA were honored by the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) at an awards ceremony held at the Teague Auditorium located at JSC in Houston, Texas.

These chapter members received the Center Director Commendation which is JSC's highest honor award presented to government employees "whose contributions are so significant that they deserve exceptional acknowledgement by the center." Presenting the awards were General Jefferson D. Howell, Jr., JSC's Center director and Randy K. Gish, JSC chief of staff and associate director.
