Aug. 25--OCALA, Fla. -- For the first time in years Wednesday, Richard Lee turned customers away.

His Richard's Place restaurant at the corner of Silver Springs Boulevard and Wakulla Avenue a block from Downtown Square had been closed the afternoon before due to evidence of roach and rodent activity inside.

Open primarily for breakfast and lunch, the eatery remained closed Wednesday. Lee hopes to reopen by lunchtime today.
