Aug. 25--Electronic Data Systems Corp. got a boost Wednesday toward its goal of signing contracts worth $10 billion in the last half of 2005.
The Plano-based computer services company will get about $1.4 billion more over the next five years than it originally expected from the United Kingdom Works and Pensions Department.
EDS and the department simplified their business relationship, combining several contracts into one large deal.
