Evening HaiR
Evening HaiR Stylist Eugene Souleiman explains the easiest, most elegant evening hair, created for Chanel's spring show: Spritz a volumizing spray just at the roots, then flip hair upside down and mist roots from beneath, as well. Massage the area with your fingertips. Part hair in the center, then gather a one- to two-inch section from each side of the part (one inch is best for thick hair, to prevent puffiness). Hold the sectioned hair straight up, and tease it by inserting a comb three inches from the roots and pulling it toward your head just once. Gather the teased section in one hand, then smooth it back with the other. Twist it, and secure at the top of the head with two crossed bobby pins. For fancy events, accessorize. At Chanel, Souleiman tied black ribbons into little bows around the twist, letting the long pieces dangle. -- J. COURTNEY SULLIVAN
