Food was a big part of our relationship at first. We had a good time going out to dinner together, and he would make these insane meals at home. I put on 40 pounds between the ages of 20 and 22, reaching my highest weight of 220 pounds. After graduating from college, I lost about 70 pounds on an extreme diet -- skipping dinner and working out seven days a week. But eventually my weight crept up again.
