Comprehensive Behavioral Care extends services for Medicare members.

Comprehensive Behavioral Care, Inc. (CompCare) last month announced that it will provide managed behavioral health and substance abuse services for members of Medicare plans in several states. CompCare officials say changes brought about by the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 have created additional growth opportunities for the company.

The Tampa, Fla.-based company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comprehensive Care Corporation, was selected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide services for Medicare members in Connecticut, Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas, said officials.
