Cream Players
Cream Players We love the look of lip and cheek stains so much that we wear them even though they tend to suck every last molecule of moisture out of our skin. Now two new lip-and-cheek products claim to marry the "color kick and great staying power of a liquid stain with the creamier feel of a lipstick," as Jillian Dempsey, the creator of Delux Beauty, puts it. Her Crush Lip & Cheek Stain, along with Julie Hewett's Cheekie Cheek & Lip Shine (shown), contains intense color pigments in a translucent cream base, vegetal polymers for staying power, and light oils for moisture. To apply, smooth the pigment on lips and cheeks with a finger, and blend until lines disappear. No suffering necessary. Bottom Line: Though not as moist as many lipsticks, these stains feel far creamier than the usual liquid formulas. -- ERIN QUINN
Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge Eye Balm (top) helps reduce lines, puff, and circles; KP Duty's glycolic acid smooths out rough upper-arm bumps.
