Shiny Eyes
Highly reflective eye gloss was an appealing addition to smoldering eyes. Makeup artists used it alone on the lids or over layers of shadow. * To make the eyes glisten at Jil Sander, makeup artist Diane Kendal dabbed clear eye gloss from the lashes to the brows and confined the rest of the makeup to discreet black eyeliner and sheer pink lip gloss. "It shows off the whites of the eyes," Kendal said. At Stella McCartney, Pat McGrath smeared Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream on the lids before applying liner, so the makeup was both smudged and shiny. * Caramel-tinted gloss rubbed on the eyes, cheeks, and forehead, as Lucia Pieroni did at Costume National, made the skin glow.
