She's a Natural
Who? Kirsten Dunst. What? The September cover of Allure, shot by Michael Thompson. Where? At Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles. The actress drove to the shoot in her black BMW SUV. When? May 20. Why? Beautiful Music: Dunst brought along her iPod in a baby blue carrying case. While being photographed, she played a Modest Mouse mix (twice) and Tom Petty's Wildflowers. Wag the Dog: Makeup artist Scott Andrew showed the actress a photograph of his dog. Dunst then told Andrew about her own best friend -- a German shepherd named Atticus. Blondes Have More Fun: While some actresses might be aloof on a photo shoot, Dunst sat in the studio's driveway, basking in the sun and chatting with the assistants. "We're all blondes!" ...
