WHEATON, Md., Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Prosecutors say gang violence has reared its head in a Maryland suburb of Washington in the form of two stabbings that wounded several teenagers.

Jeffrey Wennar, a prosecutor with the state's attorney's office in Montgomery County, said some of the six young men arrested by police Saturday were members of the MS-13 gang, The Washington Post reports.
