Jul. 26--OCALA, Fla. -- Right now, they're glued to their cell phones. They often work seven days a week. And their paycheck depends on their performance.
They're real estate agents. And apparently, more people in Marion County want to become one.
Realtors say the county's red-hot housing market has people flocking to the business. Real estate offices are being bombarded with resumes and hiring more agents. Real estate classes are bursting.
And the Ocala/ Marion County Association of Realtors hit an all-time high in membership this year.
