Jul. 27--TV Guide is getting big.

That's right, the fabled digest-sized program listing book that fit into your pocket for 52 years will turn into a full-sized, glossy magazine starting with the Oct. 17 issue.

The new TV Guide will still focus on the boob tube -- but forget about those endless, mind-numbing pages of black and white TV listings. They'll take a back seat to full color pages and give way to celeb and show biz news and features.

And the soon-to-be super-sized magazine, which featured Lucille Ball and Desi...
