There is no longer any question that personal digital assistants (PDAs) have become an important tool in medicine--so much so that some medical schools have begun issuing them to their students. But which one should you purchase?
This is a difficult question to answer, because Palm, Handspring, and Sony are releasing new models so fast that it's hard to keep track of them. And those are just the products using the Palm operating system (OS); there are the Pocket PCs to consider as well. To complicate matters further, cellular phone/PDA combinations are increasingly popular.
