Debido a que la urgencia del equipo es reforzar el pitcheo, la directiva de los Saraperos de Saltillo decidió dar de baja a uno de lo bateadores, inclinándose por Kimera Bartee, dijo ayer Carlos de la Garza, gerente general del equipo.

El directivo señaló que el lanzador dominicano Rafael García reúne las condiciones que por el momento necesita el equipo y estará en la loma de los disparos cuando Derek Bryant así lo crea conveniente.

"Teníamos que conseguir a un pítcher, teníamos que sacrificar a un bateador y a él le tocó, aunque estaba funcionado", dijo De la Garza.

El directivo señaló que le ofrecieron a Kimera Bartee acomodarlo en otro equipo, pero el jardinero no quiso aceptar esta proposición, pues quería permanecer en Saraperos, equipo al que podría regresar, pero hasta la siguiente temporada.
