Xbox has spent more than pounds 1m to promote its new game, Forza Motorsport, on a full-screen 'TV channel' online.
Gamers visiting the web site (www.fmc.tv), which is launching in 11 European countries, will be able to spend 30 minutes watching real-life video footage of car-racing scenes.
The site will feature clips of real-life drivers racing modified high-performance cars, linked by an MTV-style video-jockey. It aims to whet users' appetites for the new Xbox game, which features advanced simulations of race driving. The web site will run for two months.
