Northern California Support Group.
The Northern California Ataxia Support Group held its quarterly meeting on Saturday, July 13, 1996, in the recreation hall of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lafayette, California. This meeting was attended by 41 people. Unfortunately, due to hospitalization, our Support Group Leader, Helen Torres, was unable to attend. Edith Norby stepped in and did a splendid job of leading this meeting, and Ellie Anderson and other volunteers worked hard to serve a nice lunch.
The program for the July 13th meeting consisted of an excellent presentation by Dr. Laura Presnick on using nutrition and relaxation to increase a person's well-being. Dr. Presnick is a Doctor of Chiropractic …
