Frost, Davis paint companies announce merger. (Frost Paint and Oil Corp.; Davis Paint Manufacturers Inc.)
Minneapolis - The Frost Paint & Oil Corp., Minneapolis, and Davis Paint Manufacturers, Inc., Lynchburg, Va., jointly announced the merger of their businesses. The new company was named Davis-Frost, Inc.
Terms were not disclosed.
The Davis businesses, established in 1936, manufacture architectural and industrial coatings. Frost, founded in 1915, is a regional industrial paint manufacturer and processor of bodied linseed oil.
Davis-Frost, Inc. will employ more than 100 people and will continue operations at all existing facilities.
