Powered by a jump in sales and orders for its OREX[R] line of degradable operating room products, Isolyser Co., Inc., Norcross, Gal, racked up a 154% increase in sales during the first quarter of the year. Net sales through that quarter, c which ended March 31, reached $31 million, compared with net sales of $12.2 million in the same period of 1995. However, the company reported a net loss for the first quarter of 1996 of $377,000, compared with a net loss of $146,000 for 1Q95. For the fourth quarter of 1995, net sales were $28.3 million with a net loss of $927,000.
