Beefed-up meeting programs boost New England SCT ranks. (New England Society for Coatings and Technology)

Increased meeting attendance, increased membership, technical-program topics ranging from new water-based resins technology to the FBI investigation of the Oklahoma City bombing, and the ever-popular clambake all contributed to a blockbuster year for the New England Society for Coatings Technology.

During the past year the society offered eight technical meetings, four of which were joint meetings with the New England Coatings Association.

Each joint meeting featured two speakers: one focusing on a technical aspect of paints and coatings and the second discussing local and regional lobbying activities or regulatory and safety issues.
