An All-Conference star at Fresno State, Augie Garrido put in six years with the Cleveland Indians organization, then launched an illustrious 27-year career in college baseball. In his 20 seasons with Cal State-Fullerton, he has won 866 games, three NCAA championships, and sent more than 20 players to the major leagues.

COACH: College baseball has had tremendous growth in the 25 years you've been coaching. What do you attribute it to?
