Analytical Scientific Instruments (ASI, 4126 Lakeside Dr., Richmond, CA 94806; Tel: 510/669-2250, Fax: 510/223-9670) has added to its line of static mixers with the Micro HPLC series, which boast lower baseline noise, higher sensitivity and better reproducibility compared to packed bead and other mixers. The Micro HPLC Series accommodates flow rates below 10 L per minute and incorporates the same design features of ASI's complete static mixer line. Operating under pressures up to 15,000 psi, the micro mixer is recommended for separations where delay volume must be kept to a minimum.
