Chronimed Inc.(Brief Article)

Chronimed Inc., Minneapolis, received a sole source contract from Fort Smith, Ark.-based Beverly Enterprises, Inc., the nation's largest nursing home operator, for the distribution of blood glucose test strips, meters and related supplies.

Under the terms of the agreement, all of the post acute facilities operated by Beverly will use Chronimed's proprietary blood glucose meters, lancets and urinalysis strips.

Beverly Enterprises, through its wholly owned subsidiary Beverly Healthcare, owns and operates 561 skilled nursing and 34 assisted living facilities nationwide.
