The latest version of Exel's efacs enterprise software can be operated flora a single WindowsNT server running Terminal Server 4.0 over a WAN.

Older PCs and terminals that cannot themselves run the latest Windows systems can still be operated, bringing down the cost of accessing the system. Total ownership and maintenance costs are said to be lower than for earlier versions.

The company describes its software as available in seven languages, which includes English and American. New features include purchase and sales ledger enquiry modules, a bill of materials screen and support for SQL server 7.0.
