Ataxia is a common thread between many. Janean Dunn from Hampshire, England and Sherri Arnold from Kansas have found friendship through Ataxia. They were introduced through the Ataxia Pen Pal Program. About eleven years ago, Sherri received a letter from Janean, and the two of them have been in contact ever since. Not only have they corresponded, but Janean and her husband, Steve, have visited twice. The reason for corresponding is hereditary ataxia in both families. They have both found comfort and a great deal of friendship because of this. Even their husbands have become the "best of mates."
