Marquip Pyrobond(TM) Boasts 'Big' Benefits
THE MOST OBVIOUS characteristic of the Marquip Py robond (TM) singlefacer is its huge top corrugating roll. Its diameter is more than twice that of conventional singlefacers. The top corrugating roll, called the bonding roll, is heated with gun drilled steam passages in the roll shell.
Another unique feature is the 5-inch (125 millimeter) diameter lower corrugating roll. The labyrinth between the bonding roll and the small diameter lower corrugating roll has one third the total angular contact between the medium and the flute tips of the corrugating rolls. This has profound advantages for today's corrugated manufacturers.
