Ciba names three vice presidents
Tarrytown, N.Y. - Patrick Kiernan has been named to the newly created position of vice president, process and lubricant additives for Ciba Specialty Chemicals Additives Division. Ciba's Process Chemicals and Lubricant Additives businesses have been combined into a new business unit to maximize growth opportunities. Kiernan will lead the division's activities in the NAFTA region and continue as a member of the Additives Division Management Committee. He had served since 1995 as vice president of customer services and logistics. He began his career with Ciba in 1978 as a chemist in the marketing group in Basel, Switzerland.
