Envirco Corp., Albuquerque, N.M., is using the endorsement of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, as its main marketing focus for the company's Hospi-Gard, a new air filtration system released in November.
The Hospi-Gard, designed jointly by Envirco and Johns Hopkins University's School of Hygiene and Public Health, is a portable air filtration system designed to protect patients and health care workers against airborne microorganisms, primarily tubercle bacillus (TB). There are currently 21 Hospi-Gard systems in place at Johns Hopkins.
