Boston, June 25 -- The cooperation and collaboration of the paint and coatings manufacturing industry's two major associations is an idea whose time may have come, a key player in talks between the two organizations said recently.

That was the message from Richard M. Hille -- a member of the board of directors and Executive Committee of the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology -- delivered at the board's recent spring Week meeting in Boston.
