Employees cope with corporate structuring.

In the past few years, many companies have been consolidating and restructuring, leading to the elimination of thousands of jobs. To compensate those employees whose positions have been eliminated, many companies are providing them with outplacement services. However, according to Ana Bauza, Caribbean managing director of Right Associates, it is also very important that those employees remaining with the company learn how to handle these changes.

"In today's competitive world, the corporate culture is constantly changing," said Bauza. "People must be able to cope with this fact and realize that change cannot be controlled but managed."
