Construction employment at Anaquest Caribe Inc.'s $85 million expansion project in Guayama, now at 200 workers, is expected to reach 500 by June of this year. The expansion project will also create between 40 and 50 production jobs.
"This project started about eight months ago but the construction part began last November," said Mario Nevares, plant manager of Anaquest Caribe Inc. "Our plans are to begin operations by January 1993."
