Group refuses to accept &$760, offer made by Oriental to settle out of court over alleged construction defects

Residents of the Parque Forestal residential development in Rio Piedras are pressing ahead with their case against Oriental Federal Savings Bank. The 35 residents who are suing the bank over construction defects did not accept a $760,000 offer made several weeks ago by Oriental to settle the lawsuit out of court and are instead preparing for a March 16 trial date at the San Juan Superior Court.
