Banco Santander Puerto Rico and Santander Federal Savings Bank have decided not to join the automatic teller machine network (A Toda Hora or ATH) operated by Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, according to industry sources.
Last month, Banco Popular notified Santander and the other members of the Preesto teller machine network that, effective next April, Popular will discontinue the linkage of both networks. Preesto is the acronym for the Puerto Rico Electronic Exchange & Shared Terminal Organization.
