Navieras signs with agents on 2 islands

The Puerto Rico Maritime Shipping Authority (Navieras) has entered agreements with Service Guadaloupeen de Transportes Maritimes (SGTM) and Geo. W. Bennerr Bryson & Co. Ltd. to represent Navieras in Guadeloupe and Antigua, respectively.

Earlier this year, Navieras entered an agreement with Intermar to serve as its shipping agent in St. Martin. Navieras is also represented by shipping agents in St. Thomas, St. Croix, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago.

The agreement with the two shipping agents is part of Navieras' plans to prepare for an expected increase in the flow of products from the island …
