Sea-Land begins new weekly cargo service

Company starts weekly containership route between P.R., Trinidad and D.R., announces summer sailings to mainland

Sea-Land Service Inc. recently introduced weekly containership service between Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago and the Dominican Republic. The Pagai, a container-dedicated vessel, will be employed on the new routes.

Sea-Land also announced its new weekly summer sailing schedule between San Juan and U.S. mainland ports. The company also said that it will continue weekly service between New Orleans and San Juan through intermodal transportation to Jacksonville, Fla.
