Chairman of Committee on Government and Public Security urges closer look at Medical Malpractice Syndicate rules

The Puerto Rico Senate Committee on Government and Public Security recently released a report that recommends the Senate take a closer look at regulations involving the Medical Malpractice Syndicate (Simed).

The committee, chaired by Sen. Sergio Pena Clos, held hearings last October to address concerns raised by various sectors about Simed, the medical malpractice market and related issues.
