We all use the Shift-PrintScreen key combination as a quick way to print what's on the screen, but without the proper character set, your printer can't reproduce the lines, boxes, and other graphics your screen can display. Now a number of low-cost utilities solve that problem, while a related product enables you to obtain high-quality black-and-white stats or color separations of screens for printing in ads, brochures, or books.

At $129.95, Printer Boss, is the most expensive of the group, but it includes a host of capabilities not found in the other programs, including printing sideways and designing logos. You load it into memory prior to loading your applications software, then whenever you press Shift-PrintScreen, it prints your screen--including any lines and drawings.
