Advion BioSciences, Inc., (15 Catherwood Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850; Tel: 607/266-0665, Fax: 607/266-0749) has developed a high- throughput liquid chromatography system capable of parallel separations for increased sample throughput. While existing multi- probe systems incorporate a separate injector for each column, the Advion system uses only one injector.

The single injector feature removes injector variability and reduces the amount of plumbing and mechanical parts in the system, allowing for better separations while providing a more robust system, the company says.
