ABB Automation Inc. Drives and Power Products Group, New Berlin, Wis., has designed its ACS 160 drive as a modular unit for both wall mount and IEC motor mount installations. The ACS 160 is the pulp and paper industry's first self-contained standard NEMA 4 (IP65) micro drive, says ABB, and provides reliable, efficient motor operation in hazardous and/or washdown environments.
